Kraken fish and chips is a small North Hobart chippery, serving up traditional fare with a modern edge.
We know that Aussies have a special place in their hearts for their favourite comfort foods, and we aim to deliver the best product we can, by hand making, fresh daily, such favourites as potato cakes, battered squid, and onion rings – delivering an undeniably crackin’ feed.

We cater for a wide range of tastes, with fish available battered, panko-crumbed, or grilled; and a selection of burgers, salads, and an extensive variety of housemade hot and cold sauces.

COELIAC-FRIENDLY, GLUTEN-FREE MENU OPTIONS
All of our gluten-free options are cooked in dedicated gluten-free fryers, using ricebran or cottonseed oil.
We also take care to use separate utensils and prep areas – taking every precaution we possibly can to avoid cross-contamination.
